There are some nuances to using each of these filters. The first filter allows you to select faces, the second filter is for edges, the third is for vertices, and the fourth allows you to select holes. The measure tool is located on the command manager, and has four filters. After this, click ok, and then cancel out. The only reason you’d leave this unchecked is if you don’t want your viewer to be able to, for example, reverse engineer your model by measuring entities in the eDrawings environment. Check the following checkbox: “Okay to measure this eDrawings file.” Otherwise the measure tool won’t be available in the eDrawings environment. From the file type drop down menu, choose the file type eDrawings document. On the quick access toolbar, click the Save icon, then choose Save As. First let’s save our part as an eDrawings document.
